The terms that govern your use of BuddMD's services.
Services
BuddMD provides telemedicine medical marijuana certification services to eligible patients in New York and Connecticut, delivered by a physician licensed in both states.
Cash-pay only
BuddMD does not accept insurance. All services are cash-pay, processed through Stripe.
Pricing
Current pricing is listed on our Pricing page: $119 for a 1-year certification, $219 for a 2-year certification. Promo codes may be applied at checkout where available.
Payment timing
You may pay upfront at intake, or after the physician verifies your submitted information — your choice.
Refund policy
You are entitled to a 100% refund if you do not qualify for certification. Refund requests after your certificate has been issued are not covered by this guarantee.
No guarantee of state approval
Certification eligibility is determined by the treating physician based on state law and your individual circumstances. In Connecticut, only conditions on the state's published qualifying list can be certified. In New York, the physician retains discretion regarding which conditions to certify.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information during intake, including a valid government-issued photo ID (and proof of residency, if you are a Connecticut resident).

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page.
